    KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

    The largest national park in South Africa established in 1890.

    Borders Mpumalanga Provance, Limpopo Provance, Mozambique Provance, Zimbabwe.

    2 million hectares 19633 km2 or 7580 miles2. The Park is 380 km long and on average about 60 km wide.

    Kruger has been divided into 24 ecozones on the basis of underlying geology, topography and rainfall and associated vegetation and animal distribution.

    Major rivers are Crocodile, Limpopo, Sabie, Olifants, Letaba and Levuvhu rivers.

    Kruger has a relatively low elevation between 300 m in the east and 839 m in the southwestern corner.

    Rainfall varies from an average of 760 mm at Pretoriuskop to as little as 210 mm at Pafuri.

    Temperature varies from a daily average of 30 C in January to 23 C in July.

    Plant life varies from subtropical to tropical.More than 2000 plant species occur in the Kruger NP.

    Guests enter the Kruger National Park or any other Private Game Reserve at their own risk.

    The Kruger National Park requires indemnity forms to be filled in upon entry. 

    We cannot be held liable for circumstances that are beyond our control which might influence the quality of Game Viewing,

    like adverse weather conditions, road closures, etc.

    Unfortunately we cannot offer a guarantee in locating and viewing the Big 5 or

    any other animal of a specific species which may be requested.  

    Our professional guides will do their utmost best to ensure guests have an unforgettable experience. 

    We do not take responsibility for personal items like cameras, binoculars, incl. personal luggage of any sort that are left behind on our vehicles or anywhere else.  The owner will be liable for additional costs that may be incurred to have the items returned. 

    Bookings can only be 100% confirmed once full payment has been received.

    Kruger Park safari's are also available for persons who are not staying in our lodge.

    GAME DRIVE IN THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

    We offer full-day game drives in Kruger National Park including the opportunity to browse through the rest camp shops for interesting local fare.

    We typically visit two different camps during a whole day drive. Hearty breakfasts and good quality lunches are on the menu. 

     

    Drives are in open safari vehicles well suited for game viewing, your guide is experienced, qualified and knowledgeable.

     

    Kruger is vast covering around 2 000 000 hectors but you will be pleasantly surprised at the frequency and variety of game spotted.

    Trips are well planned and allow for alighting the OSV to stretch legs or toilet breaks.
